Yup our first history video “When was the first smoking ban?” has gone live- all three variations I might add! You can find a run down of all the variations in the portfolio, but here they are just in case-

What was the First smoking Ban?

Location: HonoursPortfolio/Episodes/Episode1

Variation 1

Details

Fully edited video with any static images on screen for no more than 4 seconds on average. Quick edits will remove majority of breaths & pauses. Up-tempo music with minimal SFX (less than 4 per minute)

 Variation 2

Details

Fully edited video with any static images on screen for over 4 seconds on average. Quick edits will remove majority of breaths & pauses. Up-tempo music with minimal SFX (less than 4 per minute)

Variation 3

Details

No video, audio only. Quick edits will remove majority of breaths & pauses. Up-tempo music with no SFX (unless applicable to audio)

So far it’s going down great! Good comments, consistent views on each episode, some survey results coming in as well, really pleased! Remember last week I mentioned the post about banding and the subreddit? Well it hasn’t happened yet, the editing took time. A LOT of time- turns out each video takes up to 7 hours per minute of editing to finish- not including audio editing. Thats just downloading, place, animating or drawing assets for the video. it’s paid off however, the episode with the more cuts and edits is so far 3x as popular.
